Who am I?

My Name is Oli Haydon, I am 6ft 3'' Tall, Slim and Slender. I live near Guildford in Surrey in a small village called East Horsley (it has a nice post office).

I  really like the outdoors and started camping in Summer 2006, as of Winter 2007, I would've camped in Scotland,Cumbria, the Isle of Wight, the New Forest and all across Europe. If you like camping, gimme a buzz and we can go sometime! Camping aside, I also enjoy climbing, hiking, running and cycling, although it's not outside - I also really like swimming.

I also spend a lot of time doing graphic design, I do it in my free time and have no intention of going to classes. I am still learning different techniques to use with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and try to find inspiration wherever possible. You can see my work on my DeviantArt site...

I am also very interested in Cinematography and visit the cinema every Wednesday to catch up on the weeks films. My film idol is Mark Kermode (left). There are too many films that I like to list them all here, Some of my real favourites include: The Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner, The Iron Giant, The Road to El Dorado, The Parole Officer, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Memento and The Green Mile.

I'm in my final year of St Georges College in Weybridge and before than I went to Cranmore School. I am studying Geography,German and Business Studies for A2. I hope to go to university to study Geography, and then sometime in the future, I'd love to start up my own chain of stylish student hostels all over the world with my brother and dad.

As well as loving movies, I'm a huge fan of The Mighty Boosh and other wonderful programmes like Scrubs, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Top Gear, Mock the Week, Arrested Development, Family Guy, Futurama, The Apprentice and Waking the Dead to name but a few.

Finally, in the world of music, I used to play the Piano but kinda failed and have now moved onto the Banjo! It's the most amazing instrument in the world and my Banjo playing goal in life if to be able to play Duelling Banjos from the film Deliverance.

In the world of music which I don't create myself I really like Cherry Ghost, Lemon Jelly, The Feeling, Sweet, Embrace, Editors and The Flaming Lips  (<<Favs). The Fratellis, Athlete, The Strokes, Hard-Fi, The Thrills, The Automatic, The National, The Killers, Manic Street Preachers, Muse, Sigur Ros, The Enemy..and many many more also take my fancy

My favourite genre of music is the soundtrack so I can't leave out my favourite score composers, Ronan Hardiman, Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, Alan Silvestri and Alex Heffes are my favs.
